Two public boat launch areas are available for launching ski boats, pontoons, pleasure boats and fishing boats. Canoes and kayaks can be portaged from several public access areas, including the launch areas. With over a dozen species in the lake, there are fishing opportunities for all anglers regardless of age or fishing experience. There is plenty of area for fishing from shore, with many secluded areas which may require some walking or hiking to access.
