Spectacular natural scenery surround Odell Lake, which is a 3,600-acre lake in the west-central part of the state, 3 miles north of Crescent Lake, OR. There are several boat launch ramps for launching pleasure and fishing boats. Many of the public areas provide access for portage of canoes, kayaks and other small watercraft. At least three campgrounds are close by the water. The Shelter Cove Resort & Marina has camping, dining, lodging and shopping is open during the fishing season. Fishing enthusiasts traverse the 13 miles of shoreline and fish for trout and salmon. Most of the shoreline is accessible for fishing from the bank.
