At least three campgrounds are close by the water. The Shelter Cove Resort & Marina has camping, dining, lodging and shopping is open during the fishing season. Fishing enthusiasts traverse the 13 miles of shoreline and fish for trout and salmon. Most of the shoreline is accessible for fishing from the bank.
