Set along side Bald Eagle Mountain, Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir is a 1,700-acre lake in the central part of PA. The lake employs no horsepower limits, so all boats are welcome. However, there is a speed limit of 45 mph on the water. Bring your bass boat, pontoon boat, pleasure boat, fishing boat, kayak or canoe and enjoy the scenery along with the fishing. 23 miles of shoreline and a nice variety of fish species make this an ideal destination for your next boating and fishing trip. As a warm-water fishery the lake features bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill, sunfish and perch. However the water does stay cool enough to support walleye, muskie and tiger muskie. Most years, during winter, a section of the lake freezes enough to allow for ice fishing.
