Youghiogheny River Lake In Pennsylvania

At 16 miles long and covering 2,800 acres, Youghiogheny River Lake is a multi-use lake for boating, water sports and fishing. At times the lake levels may fluctuate drastically as this is a flood control reservoir. When water levels are sufficiently high, boat launches and a marina serve the lake. Camping and RV spaces are available just minutes from the lake. Yough Lake has a nice variety of fish species to pursue. Bass, walleye, crappie, hybrid stripers, catfish, muskie, chain pickerel, northern pike and sunfish all reside in this reservoir.
