Crappie tend to hang around docks and bridge pilings. The lake is often overlooked in favor of larger neighboring lakes, Twin Buttes Reservoir and OC Fisher Lake - which reduces the competition here. There is plenty of shoreline to fish, however access for bank fishing is somewhat limited. Fishing boats, canoes and kayaks are the best way to reach the majority of the fishing water.
