A boating destination with no horsepower restrictions, Long Pond is a 1,700-acre lake in the southeast part of the state. A large, paved boat ramp, on the southeastern end of the lake serves boaters launching pleasure, pontoon and fishing boats. Kayaks and canoes can also launch at the ramp. It is a very popular fishing destination with over 11 miles of shoreline. Continually stocked in the spring and fall with trout, anglers seek a nice variety of species including bass, walleye, trout, sunfish, perch and pike in these waters.
