This popular boating lake, Lake Gaston is a 20,000-acre lake on the southern border of the state, at Gasburg, VA. Boat docks, creek channels and areas with aquatic vegetation are the primary targets for locating fish. Well known for big blue catfish, the lake also has nice schools of bass, crappie, walleye, stripers, white bass and chain pickerel.
