Standley Lake In Colorado

Standley Lake, Colorado

Boating, camping and fishing.

Westminster, a suburb of Denver, is home to Standley Lake, a nice location for boating, water sports and fishing. There are three boat launch ramps for pleasure boats, pontoons, sailboats, kayaks and fishing boats. This 1,200 surface-acre lake, with nearly 5 miles of shoreline, provides recreation for vacationers throughout the warmer months. This relatively warm-water reservoir allows bass, walleye, catfish, perch and trout fishing, all in the same waters. For anglers wishing to fish from the bank there is considerable access around the lake via hiking paths.
