Crappie, catfish, white bass, bluegill, stripers, hybrid striped bass and sunfish all reside here. With 376 miles of shoreline to fish, this 19,000-acre lake has plenty of fishing holes for those who fish out of a boat and those who prefer to fish from the bank. Lake Oconee is located in the east-central part of the state, 2 miles west of Greensboro, GA.
