Bring a fishing, family or pontoon boat and explore these fertile waters which are surrounded by 35 miles of scenic shoreline. Boats are also available for rental, at the lake. There are several boat launch ramps available for public use. Kayaks and canoes are a good option on days with minimal wind. Walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike and big muskies are the primary target of local anglers. Anglers have the opportunity to catch bass, catfish, crappie, walleye, trout, bluegill, sunfish, perch, muskie, northern pike, sturgeon and others. In winter, ice fishing is popular.
