Lake St Clair In Michigan

Lake St Clair, Michigan

Boating, camping and fishing.

Half in Michigan and half in Canada, Lake St Clair is a preferred destination for boating, water sports and fishing. This 275,000-acre lake lies in the southeast corner of Michigan, at Detroit. Numerous boat launch ramps and marinas are located up and down the Michigan shoreline. Campgrounds, RV parks, shopping dining and lodging are all convenient and enhance your stay for a short fishing trip or an extended vacation. This boating paradise has over 130 miles of shoreline. Walleye, perch, trout, muskie, crappie, bass, sunfish, catfish, northern pike and sturgeon all thrive here. Area fishing guides and charters offer an array of fishing trips for most of these species. Ice fishing here is famous for really big perch. Giant muskies, big smallmouth bass, trophy walleye and big northern pike are all caught with some regularity.
