Broken Bow Reservoir In Oklahoma

Broken Bow Reservoir, Oklahoma

Boating, camping and fishing.

Located in southeast Oklahoma, Broken Bow Reservoir is a 14,000-acre boating lake, just 8 miles north of Broken Bow. Launch pleasure boats, ski boats, jet, skis, pontoons and fishing boats using the multi-lane boat ramp at Beavers Bend Marina, or use the smaller ramps at Coyote Drive Campsites, Beavers Bend Lakeview-Lodge and Carson Creek Recreation Area. A couple other more primitive areas will allow for launch of canoes and kayaks. Camping, lodging, boat rental, restaurants and a convenience store are all nearby the lake. The lake is strewn with islands, big and small, and there is over 180 miles of shoreline to explore. A few areas can be reached with 4-wheel drive vehicles and/or hiking, for fishing from the bank. Three species of bass are the primary target for anglers, but the lake also has notable populations of hybrid stripers, white bass, crappie, catfish and paddlefish.
